Pixie von Mainz is a beautiful 3 month old German Shepherd mix puppy. Pixie is the sweetest, most adorable German Shepherd puppy you will ever meet, who is just looking for her person to be her best friend. The world failed this precious, beautiful girl in the first few months of her life, but luckily she was saved by Westside. In spite of her hard start, Pixie just LOVES and trusts people and wants nothing more than to please her people. She is actually the quintessential cuddle-bug (who firmly believes she will always be a lap-dog), and is happiest while getting hugs and cuddles from her people. She is a medium energy puppy and her desire to please, along with her “smarts”, make training easy - she walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and, as an added bonus, is already potty-trained!  She loves playing with her foster fur-siblings (she is fostered with small dogs, GSDs, and a cat), but will do best in her new home if her fur-siblings are easygoing.  She’d also be ok with being an only dog, as her main focus is on being with her person. She appears to us to be pure German Shepherd, but of course no guarantees, other than that Pixie will be the dog you’ll end up saying was your “heart dog”.
